At 75 years old, Margaret shared her bed each night with a huge python… until the day his daughter veterinarian discovered the reason for his strange behaviour.
Three years earlier, Margaret had collected a young python she called Sunny. She was so attached that she had come to regard it as a real pet.
But with time, Sunny grew up… and his behavior changed.
One night, Margaret woke up and discovered the python lying next to her in bed. It took no fear. On the contrary, she thought that Sunny was looking for just his warmth.
Then he began again.
Night after night, the snake was closer, reaching up to wrap around his legs and his abdomen.
Margaret found it endearing and told even his daughter Daniella, a veterinarian.
A few days later, Daniella came to visit him.
In the kitchen, Margaret revealed to him that Sunny did every night.
— ” Do you know what he’s doing now ? ”
Daniella remained silent.
When she understood exactly what was happening, his face changed abruptly.
She begged him immediately to his mother to never sleep with the python.
But why ?
The reason would let Margaret completely in shock… 
Daniella approached slowly Sunny and observed his behavior for several minutes.
And then she understood.
The python wasn’t just the heat of Margaret.
For several nights, he was reclining against her, and remained motionless, as if it was gradually his body.
Daniella then explained to his mother that this behavior could be a worrying sign, the serpent was looking for can be to evaluate whether it could swallow its prey. The fact that he stops eating or adopt some positions around Margaret could also indicate a change of behavior.
Margaret remained frozen.

Daniella nodded.

Margaret looked at his companion of three years.
For the first time, she no longer saw the small snake that she had collected.
She lives a python adult, several metres… capable of becoming extremely dangerous.
That night, Sunny was installed in an enclosure secure, away from the room.
Margaret, it remained long awake.
