One of the most important things a person can do is start a family. Jazzy and Rich were expecting their second child and were excited about raising another little one. As Jazzy’s due date drew closer, they decided to have a beautiful maternity photo shoot before the big day. They wanted to keep the photos as a memory of this happy time in their lives and show them to future generations.
But the session didn’t go quite as Jazzy imagined…
Jazzy chose a lovely pink dress for the shoot. Her daughter Reign, who wasn’t much older, dressed just like her. Jazzy also did her makeup especially for the occasion.
Weather concerns: Jazzy and Rich were a bit worried about the constant rain in the days leading up to the shoot, fearing it might ruin their plans. But on the day of the session, the clouds cleared and the sun came out. The trio headed to their chosen location, with a spectacular waterfall in the background.
Just another photo shoot? Jazzy thought she was simply going to take the pictures she had been planning for months. What she didn’t know was that Rich had other plans.
The photographer started taking family portraits of the couple and their daughter. Suddenly, he stopped and asked Jazzy to wait a moment before the next shot. Rich, who had been behind her the entire time, reached into his bag and pulled out a small velvet box.
At that moment, he knelt down.
