Multiple births are rare. According to WHO statistics, twins are born in only one out of 80 pregnancies, while triplets are born in one out of 8,000. There, in the operating room, James saw the triplets next to their mother’s lifeless body.
The mother had died during childbirth, and the doctor decided to save the babies. Nichols stepped out of the operating room and saw his colleague Thomas, who was waiting for his sister and nephews.
