On his farm in southwest England, seven-year-old Shayne-Lee lives among a variety of animals, including chickens, goats, and horses. Naturally, he loves country and western music. When he was invited to the blind audition for “The Voice Kids” UK, John Denver’s song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” was the perfect choice for him, given his love for the countryside.
One of the judges asked him, “Have you ever ridden a horse?” Shayne-Lee confidently answered, “I came here today on a horse.” This little detail only added to the charm he had already shown on stage.
The audience was immediately charmed by his cute appearance as he stepped onto the stage. The judges quickly noticed his charm, and it didn’t take long for them to realize his exceptional singing talent.
Judge Danny Jones said, “This is the sweetest voice I’ve ever heard!” as the boy began to sing:
