On November 8, 1935, a little boy was born who would become, one could say, one of the most handsome men of our time.
Alain was born in the suburbs of Paris, 80 kilometers from Notre-Dame Cathedral. His mother worked as a pharmacist.
When his father opened a cinema, she worked there as a cashier. But when the boy was three, his parents separated.

Later, both remarried and started new families. The future actor had half-brothers and half-sisters.
Alain’s stepfather worked in a butcher shop, as did his mother. The parents had little time to devote to him, so they hired a nanny to take care of him.
It turned out the child was living between two families. As the actor later admitted, he liked it at first, but then he began to lose interest in others.

At school, his academic performance was poor. He often found himself in trouble and was frequently expelled, which forced him to change schools regularly.
But he loved music and played the piano. He won several awards for participating in concerts. However, this passion quickly faded.

He then learned the trade of a butcher. He worked three months in a butcher shop and later in a store.
Military service followed, which, according to the actor, had a positive effect on his character. After returning from the army, he began working as a waiter.

And that’s how his numerous auditions for the cinema began.
