Young Russian Sofia Bogdanova amazed the audience with her precise and intricate roller skating routine at the 2017 Shanghai Slalom Open. In a dark blue mini-dress, Sofia effortlessly glided between the cones, executing most of her routine on tiptoe with the grace of a ballerina.
Her exceptional performance not only brought her the victory that year, but also secured her a win the following year. Born on August 6, 2005, in Moscow, Russia, Sofia’s journey into skating began at the age of four with figure skating lessons, which ultimately led her to her passion for roller skating.
Although naturally talented, Sofia’s success didn’t come without hard work. She dedicates five days a week to training, a significant commitment for someone her age. This dedication has meant sacrificing many typical childhood activities, but it’s clear that her efforts have led to impressive achievements.
