While watching the recordings, I noticed some strange behavior in a squirrel, and when I realized why, I was speechless.
I live in a neighborhood near a large forest. There are many deer and squirrels living there. The squirrels, in particular, are very tame and aren’t afraid to approach houses or us.
Everyone in the neighborhood is used to their presence, and many neighbors leave food in front of their houses for them.
Honestly, this little habit started when we noticed them stealing everything left on the balcony tables. The most interesting thing is that they eat absolutely everything we give them.
My son loves them, and every time they come near the house, he goes out to play with them. Even if he doesn’t see them one day, he always asks me to watch the recordings. It amuses him a lot.
One day, while he was watching the recordings, I noticed one of the squirrels was acting a little strange. When I realized the reason for this behavior, I was speechless.
My son, a little embarrassed, looked at me and said, “Mom, I have to tell you something.”
He took a deep breath and, with a slightly guilty expression, confessed, “I was the one who put hot sauce in the pasta you left outside for the squirrels.”
I was speechless, trying to understand why he would do such a thing.
Blushing, he continued, “I wanted to see if squirrels would eat spicy pasta, like you do when you put it in your food.”
At that moment, everything became clear.
So he was the one who had caused this strange behavior!
The poor squirrels had probably gotten a very spicy surprise… But at the same time, I couldn’t help but laugh.
