Every day, the pensioner found a fresh loaf of bread wrapped in cellophane on his porch: he didn’t know where the bread came from, and when he went to the police, he was horrified 😱😱
Every morning, at exactly the same time, the pensioner went out onto the porch of his house, and there the same strange gift was waiting for him – a fresh loaf of bread wrapped in cellophane. The packaging had a bright label with the name of an unknown store. The name sounded unusual, as if from another country, and the old man immediately had a feeling that something was wrong here.

The first time, he decided that perhaps it was the neighbors who showed concern – someone noticed his loneliness and decided to help with food.
He was even slightly touched, but still did not eat the bread – something inside told him that free gifts are not accidental.
The next day, the story repeated itself: the same loaf, in the same package, in the same place. Then he thought that perhaps the social services had started some new program to support pensioners. But the strange thing was that none of the neighbors mentioned it, and he had not received any notification.
On the third day, the man’s nerves gave out. He was worried about everything: the same time, and the unusual origin of the bread.
He took the loaf under his arm and went to the nearest store. Approaching the saleswoman, he asked:
— Are you bringing me bread? Maybe you have some new promotion?
The woman looked at him as if he had gone crazy.
— What are you talking about, grandpa, we have no promotions or charity. We just sell bread, we don’t deliver it to people’s homes, — she snapped.
The old man left the store even more confused. And the more he thought, the more anxious he felt. He was already afraid to even touch the bread – what if there was something mixed in? What if someone wanted to poison him?
On the fourth morning, he decided to act differently. He took out an old video camera from the pantry, which he had once used at family celebrations, and set it up so that it would film the porch.
And so, when he watched the recording in the morning, his heart almost stopped. On the screen, it was clearly visible: at four o’clock in the morning, a small drone silently flies up to his house, hovers over the porch, carefully lowers a bag of bread and immediately flies away.
The pensioner caught his breath. Everything became even more frightening: this was definitely not a neighbor or social services. This was something else.
With trembling hands, he packed his things and went to the police station. And then he learned something terrible 😱😱 Continued in the first comment 👇👇
There, having shown the recording, he could barely explain what was happening. The policemen looked at each other, and one of them quietly chuckled:
— Yes, my dear sir, you got into an experiment.
It turned out that some new startup company decided to test an unusual bread delivery system. And his address accidentally ended up in their customer database.
All because a few days ago, a pensioner, trying to check the weather forecast on his phone, accidentally clicked on an ad and signed up for a monthly subscription for bread delivery.
He himself did not understand how it happened — it looked as if he had simply “pointed his finger in the wrong place.” But in fact, he signed up for a trial tariff.
When the old man heard the explanation, he either sighed with relief or became completely angry. They returned his money and cancelled his subscription, but the uneasy feeling remained.
And he never dared to try the bread that was lying around at home – those loaves looked too ominous.
