“Take off your bandages and quickly go to the kitchen, mom and sister are hungry”: husband wouldn’t leave wife alone after head surgery, but then mother-in-law came and did something unexpected 🫣😱
The woman was lying in bed, covered with a blanket, and every movement was accompanied by a pain in her head. Her recent concussion and injuries had robbed her of her strength, and the doctor had strictly ordered her not to get up for at least a few weeks. But the doctor’s words meant nothing in her house.
The door slammed shut, and her husband burst into the bedroom. He was angry and irritated.
“Take off the bandages and quickly go to the kitchen!” he said. “My mother and sister are here, cook something for them. What kind of housewife are you, lying here and doing nothing?”
“But you know I can’t get up. Maybe you should cook something yourself, it really hurts.”
“I don’t care. Why did I get married then, if my wife can’t even cook?”
The wife could barely hold back her tears. Before she could answer, new footsteps were heard in the hallway.

The mother-in-law stepped closer and, without a word, slapped her son-in-law with all her strength. The loud blow echoed in the deafening silence.
“This is for you,” she said in a cold voice, “for daring to demand food from a woman who had not even fully recovered from surgery.”
The man was stunned, he did not expect this.
“You have it all wrong,” she continued, looking him straight in the eyes. “This is not a kitchen or a hospital. This is my daughter’s house. And you will not be the boss here, and certainly not your mother or sister. Stop making my daughter suffer. Pack your things and get out of here.” My daughter doesn’t have the courage to say all this, but I won’t let her live with you anymore. A tyrant and a coward.
He opened his mouth to object, but he couldn’t find the words. The strength of her voice and her confidence weighed on him like a heavy weight. She spoke calmly, but each word hit her harder than a blow.
The woman in bed felt for the first time in a long time that there was someone in the room who was ready to protect her at all costs.
And the man realized that everything he had thought was his power had collapsed in an instant.
