The newlyweds turned the flight into their personal suite, making it a nightmare for everyone else — until the flight attendant gave them a harsh lesson.

LIFE STORIES

Toby, a 35-year-old man returning home after working abroad, had booked a premium seat for extra comfort. Mid-flight, a newlywed named Dave asked to switch seats so he could sit next to his wife Lia, who was in economy. Toby, attached to his upgraded seat, offered to trade only for a high sum, which Dave declined.

Dave’s behavior quickly became unbearable: he coughed loudly, played an action movie at full volume without headphones, and spilled pretzel crumbs on Toby’s legs.

Later, Lia joined him on his lap, displaying inappropriate affection in the tight space.

Fed up, Toby alerted the flight crew. After assessing the situation, they moved Dave and Lia back to economy for violating airline policies. Toby enjoyed the rest of his flight in peace.

Upon landing, he was thanked by the crew for his patience. Reunited with his family, Toby left the chaos behind and embraced the joy of being home.
