I got this mysterious item as a gift. No packaging, no manual, not even a clue about its purpose. It’s pink, and its shape… well, let’s just say it’s a bit ambiguous.
The material is firm foam, but it gives slightly when pressed. At first, I thought it was a joke. Or modern art. Or something from a quirky novelty store.
I turned it over in my hands, trying to find logic, function, or at least a hint. The guesses ranged from a fruit holder to a futuristic armrest. But nothing fit.

I uploaded a photo to the internet with the caption:
“I got this as a gift. Does anyone know what it is and what it’s for?”

Within a few hours, the answer came:
It turned out to be something brilliantly simple — a soft back massage brace! You just place it on the floor or couch, lie down on it, and the shaped bumps gently massage your back and release tension.

Now it’s my favorite after-work accessory. Who would’ve thought this weird-looking thing would become such a useful gift?
Was it really so hard to include instructions or at least not throw them out?
