The smart dog barked loudly to get attention until a woman discovered the package and called for help… 😮
Pui was wandering alone in Bangkok, sniffing through garbage, when he noticed a strange white plastic bag that seemed to be moving. The four-legged hero gently grabbed it by the handles and brought it home.

Once home, he placed the bag on the porch and barked loudly. His owner’s 12-year-old niece, Sudarat, came out and opened the bag—only to find a newborn baby with the umbilical cord still attached.
Her family rushed the baby to the hospital, where doctors confirmed it was a premature birth—around 7 months—and weighed only 4 pounds 8 ounces. The baby received urgent care and survived.
For his heroic act, Pui was awarded a leather collar and medal by the local Red Cross. The Thongmak family also received $300 to help feed Pui and their three other dogs. It’s still unknown who the mother was or who adopted the baby.
