Lana, one of our readers, made a shocking discovery on her wedding night that forced her to reconsider her fresh marriage. She was furious when she realized what her husband had planned for their special evening, and she asked for advice.

After the guests left the party, my husband and I went to our hotel room for our first night as a married couple. As soon as we got in, he said he had forgotten something in the hallway and stepped out.
Thirty minutes passed, and he didn’t return. I got worried and started looking for him. I eventually found him at the reception desk, chatting with his childhood friend Dylan.

They’ve been friends for 25 years, but hadn’t seen each other for about ten years, since Dylan lives and works in Australia. My husband apologized, saying he meant to call me but left his phone in the room.

Then, to my surprise, he added, “Do you mind if I go hang out with him tonight? We’re both exhausted from the celebration, and it would be relaxing. Of course, you’re welcome to join us too.” Realizing I wasn’t a priority for him on our wedding night, I left the hotel alone and never looked back.
