Alexandra Dulin, known on TikTok and Instagram as Ali D Spice XO, had over 98,000 followers on Instagram and more than 900,000 followers on TikTok. Her following was so large that she dropped out of college when she realized she could make a living as an influencer.
Ali’s father, James Dulin, described her social media presence as a combination of “spice” and “helping people.” He called her a “hardworking, proud young lady” who “knew how to combine the message of helping people and knew when to add a little ‘spice’ to attract more attention.”
Sadly, Ali passed away in a car accident on Sunday. She was only 21 years old. The accident was caused by another driver who was going the wrong way on the road. After the crash, the driver of the oncoming vehicle fled into the woods, leaving the car behind. Ali and two other people traveling with her were all killed.
The family of 22-year-old influencer Ali Spice, killed by a wrong-way driver, is planning a celebration of her life.
James struggles to accept the loss of his 21-year-old daughter. He spoke to her the day before the accident, and they discussed their upcoming Christmas visit. He last saw his daughter in person during Thanksgiving.

After hearing about Ali’s death, many of her followers paid their respects on TikTok. James knew his daughter had a large following, but never imagined it was this big until he saw the love expressed in the tributes.

Ali’s family posted a photo of her taken at age 17 on Instagram, and in the caption, they asked followers “not to use social media to attack anyone by accusing them of the crime that took her life. Our family is working with the Florida police to resolve this issue. Please let them do their work, and do not tear down anyone’s belief that someone is responsible for this. We fully trust that the responsible person will be caught.
